Road Drain Clearance

The road drains are being cleared out by Parish Council contractors on the nights of Wednesday, 28th and Thursday, 29th of October.

ROAD DRAIN CLEARANCE

The Parish Council have organised the cleaning of the road drains through the village from Ford Farm bridge down to Cross Keys roundabout.  This work is necessary to allow for the free flow of water off the road in heavy rain and before the winter storms arrive and will help prevent flooding on the main road. 

The work is taking place at night to prevent traffic hold ups and will commence on the nights of Wednesday,28th and Thursday 29th October.  We would ask if you could please avoid parking on the main road during those two nights.
